No collection is complete without it - I m sold on the music and feel that Jim Jones has the sickest flow around. While some of the music admittedly seems tone-deaf, the tracks that hit are some of the greatest Hip Hop songs I have ever heard. It s well worth buying for songs like We Fly High, Reppin Time, Weather Man, Emotionless, and Pour Wax. Jim is not new to the game: he understands the Hip Hop world like no other and displays this in both his original street style as well as his mastery of the business. I now hear many many other rappers biting his material.I ve never bothered to write a review before. But I saw the low rating on this album that it doesn t deserve. I can t speak for the other artists on the tracks but Jim is authentic - the real deal. If you like the east coast flavor, this one is a great buy. If you re a true fan of Hip Hop, your collection is simply not complete without this album.

3rd solo is decent - Jim Jones is back with his 3rd solo in as many years, with his 1st two being 3.5 stars, I d say this one is a little better and barely a 4 star album. Like his other albums it s long, with 16 songs (easily could ve dropped 3 or 4 and made it better). Of the 16, I d say 5 are ok, the other 11 are good, but no great or classic on here. Guests are heavy and on all of the songs but 2. Like most of the other members of the Dip Set crew, his rapping is average at best and their style gets old after a while, but of them all Jim Jones is my favorite of the DipSet crew. Production is decent. Chink Santana does 6 songs, Big K.O., Jim Bond, Jim Jones, The Runners, Critical Child, Zukhan, Hot Prod., Majik, Mercury, and Joe Black all do 1 song. If you re a fan of his I d pick it up.#1 - 8.5 (f/ Max B)#2 - 8 (f/ Max B)#3 - 7.5 (f/ Max B)#4 - 8.5 (f/ Juelz Santana)#5 - 8#6 - 7 (f/ Cam ron, Juelz Santana, Max B)#7 - 6 (f/ Jha Jha & Princess0#9 - 6. 5(f/ Karen civil)#11 - 8 (f/ Max B)#13 - 8 (f/ Lil Wayne & Stack Bundles (R.I.P.)#14 - 8.5 (f/ Rell)#15 - 8 (f/ Hell Rell)#17 - 7.5 (f/ Max B)#18 - 8 (f/ Chink Santana)#19 - 9#20 - 8 (f/ Rell, Noe & Max B)Joseph Jones -- b. 1-1/2 stars -- Not environmentally friendly - Jim Jones is another one of those rappers that seems to release a new album every year. Although I ve never been much of a Dipset fan, I still try to give everything a chance. But now I m regretting it after hearing Hustler s P.O.M.E.One annoying thing that Jim does is his constant yelling back to himself after every bar, and it s usually the same thing: count how many times in a single song you hear, BALLIN ! At the same time, though, it might be hard to hear that because there are so many guest stars on here, Jim is only alone on three of the twenty tracks. But he isn t that great when he s by himself either (Reppin Time, anyone?). And most of the songs feature someone named Max B, who comes off as a poor man s 50 Cent, his worst moment is on Love of My Life. The only track on here that I can even stand is Weatherman (with Lil Wayne and the late Stack Bundles -- and that s not saying much considering the album is 76 minutes long). The rest of the album is a travesty littered with all the usual suspects: pointless voicemail skits, a song for the ladies (Don t Push Me Away), blingin (We Fly High), and representin your hometown (So Harlem). Then there are songs that don t even make sense, like Pin the Tail and Pour Wax. And even when Jim tries to get introspective (Concrete Jungle), he STILL falls, but whoever raps the second verse says to a foe: Your life is Chuck E. Cheese/Mine is a pizzeria. Huh?Some Crime Mob members show up for the necessary club joint Get It Poppin , and if you didn t like them before, you probably won t like them NOW either. And Emotionless is just that. I don t know many people that were checking for this album anyway, but I ll still say that if you find this product in your environment, then you might want to organize a cleanup crew.Anthony Rupert

One word: Horrible - i think this was a horrible cd. wish i didnt waste money on it. his last one was better than this one. i like maybe 2-3 tracks on this whole thing. i think max b ruined it, if you ask me. i wanted the cd for emotionless. oh yea and jim is fine!!

Jones Steps Up To The Plate - I will be honest from the get go and tell you that I am a huge Dipset fan, but that bias aside, I definitely think this is one of the best rap cd s of 2006. Jones gives a suprisingly mature effort on P.O.M.E., and touches on many subjects he has never covered on previous songs. Highlights include the intensely paranoid cut Emotionless where both Jones and Santana spit memorable verses. Other standout tracks are Reppin Time, Bright Lights, Big City, So Harlem, Weatherman, Pour Wax, and of course the smash hit We Fly High (BALLLIN!!). Overall, Jones has created a very strong and solid effort, which he should be extremely proud of.
